From 1st October a bus service from Altea to Teulada will be available

From Tuesday 1st October until 31st of the same month, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) will extend the substitute bus service to the stations included in the section between Altea and Teulada of Line 9 of the TRAM d’Alacant (Benidorm-Dénia), as a result of the works being carried out on the new viaducts of Algar and Mascarat.

Alternative bus transportation will operate along this stretch with stops near the stations of Altea, Garganes, Cap Negret, Olla Altea, Calp, Benissa and Teulada.

This interruption of the railway service is a continuation of the one that has been carried out in the Altea-Calp section, and that was first established as a result of the emergency works that have been carried out to deal with the effects of the fire that occurred last January in the Mascarat area, through which this line runs.

The current interruption is due to the construction of the new Algar and Mascarat viaducts.

In its last phase, in November and before the completion of the works scheduled for December, the modification of the service will again affect the Garganes-Calp section.
