Improvement works on L9

Due to the improvement works that Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) is carrying out on Line 9 of the TRAM d’Alacant (Benidorm-Dénia), between the Olla Altea and Calp stations, an alternative bus service is offered.

This transport connection has been in operation since April 9, free for travelers on the Alicante TRAM who travel through the affected section. These buses connect with the trains in circulation at the stops installed next to the two affected stations.

After this first action, which is carried out in the Mascarat area to address the damage caused by the fire that occurred in January of this year, in September the interruption of service will be established between Garganes and Calp, due to the work renovation of the Algar and Mascarat bridges.

In October the bus service will be extended to Teulada. In a final phase, before the completion of the works in December, the cut will include the Garganes-Calp section.
