Bike + TRAM

1.- Access for non-electric bicycles to Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana facilities, units, and services on the TRAM d’Alacant network is authorized, under the following conditions:

• Access to and transport of non-electric folding bicycles is permitted throughout the TRAM d’Alacant network, although the transport of any bicycle that does not meet these requirements is prohibited.
• Non-electric folding bicycles must be transported as hand luggage and must be folded at all times, both inside rail and tram vehicles and between access and exit points at FGV facilities.
• Drivers of vehicles authorized for access and transport must remain at their side and are solely responsible for not causing inconvenience to other passengers or damage to rail vehicles or FGV facilities.
• Obstructing railway personnel’s access to the driver’s cabs is strictly prohibited.
• Obstructing the access and exit doors of rail and tram vehicles is prohibited.
• During events with high transport demand (Hogueras de Sant Joan, etc.), access to all types of bicycles may be prohibited, either on the entire Alicante TRAM network or in certain areas.

2.- Access to the facilities, offices, and units of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana on the TRAM d’Alacant network is prohibited for electric bicycles, electric scooters, or other Personal Mobility Vehicles (PMVs) with one or more wheels and powered exclusively by electric motors or batteries, except for those vehicles adapted for people with reduced mobility, until national regulations are issued to guarantee the safe access of these types of vehicles on public transport.

3.- Folding bicycles are permitted to access the elevators of the TRAM d’Alacant network as long as they are fully folded upon entry.
